General Educational Development - GED
What do the GED Tests measure? The Tests of General Educational Development (GED Tests) consist of five tests which measure achievement in subject areas associated with a high school program of study. The five tests are: Writing, Social Studies, Science, Reading and Mathematics. The tests are taken by people who have not graduated from high school and who wish to demonstrate a level of educational achievement sufficient to earn a high school credential. The tests are administered regularly at more than 3,000 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. Dassel-Cokato is not a testing site but the instructors have information regarding area testing sites, locations, hours, fees and testing requirements.
Practice makes perfect! In addition to strengthening the areas you need most, teachers will offer test taking tips and practice tests. After you take the practice tests and build your confidence, you are ready to pass the GED test. You can plan on success and we will help you get there.
English as a Second Language for Adults - ESL
These classes are for non-English speaking students, who want to improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. ESL classes give learners the skills they need to communicate and work in our community. Student progress at their own pace.
